WORDPRESS THEME · v1.2.2
Hayati حیاتی
noun · classic WordPress theme · light/dark · right sidebar · GPLv2
1.
A quiet, editorial theme modeled on the look, feel, and palette of this site. Warm paper and ink in light mode, a settled dark mode to match, and a header that never hides its menu behind a button.
2.
Built classic, not block-based — template files, not a page builder. A right sidebar on every post and page, a footer of up to three widget areas, and a distinct treatment for nine different post formats.
3.
Works fully with JavaScript disabled. The menu, the search box, and the light/dark toggle all keep functioning — script only ever adds convenience, never dependency.

What's inside
- Light/dark toggle that follows your device by default, and remembers an explicit choice once you click it — even with JS off.
- Nine post formats — aside, link, quote, status, photo, gallery, video, audio, and chat — each with its own small aesthetic.
- Heading anchors. Every H1–H3 in your content gets a stable id and a hover "#" for linking straight to a section.
- No external requests. No icon fonts, no CDN webfonts, no third-party scripts — every icon is inline SVG, every font a system stack.
- RTL support out of the box, including a dedicated stylesheet — this page's حیاتی renders correctly either direction.
- Widgets that work without JS, too. The Archives widget's dropdown navigates on a real form submission, not just a script — pick a month and go, script or no script.
- Customizer options for an accent color (defaults to this site's own #27518b), an optional announcement banner, an optional old-post notice, and custom footer text.
